A new community centre for Builth

We have taken on the TIC building on the Groe and opened it as a new community building in September 2024.

Following feedback it was clear that the name of the building as the TIC was well established. However it has been decided following suggestions from members of the public that TIC will stand for “Together In the Community”.

It is available for community organisations to use for regular or occasional sessions (it is not for business use). Community Support will also be running drop-in sessions for anyone to call in and have a chat.

Funding to allow us to refurbish, improve and use the building has come from:

Community Support run a lunch club in the building twice monthly (the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month), making use of the newly installed kitchen. We also have a variety of organisations using the building and we are very pleased to be working with them bringing services and information into our community.
