Jungle's Garth Hill Challenge

After 365 days, Jungle’s Garth Hill Challenge came to an end on 12th February 2022. Dozens of people came out to join Jungle John for his final walk up Garth Hill, and it was a very emotional day for all involved.

To thank Jungle for his fundraising efforts, we arranged a little celebration at the BWCS office with Mayor Gwyn Davies, Cllrs Jeremy Pugh and David Price, and High Sheriff Peter James among those in attendance. To reiterate what was said, everyone at BWCS is extremely grateful to Jungle for all that he has done, not just by raising money but also raising awareness of the important work done by Community Support across our area. We plan to continue working with Jungle for a long time yet!

Though the challenge has finished, you can still donate to the fundraiser which closes on 28th February 2022. Over £6000 has been raised so far. You can bring cash donations to the BWCS office or donate online at:
